- 08/23/2016 - Daily Log 0:
We were introduced to the Computer Science 4 project in which we are to find a need for a consumer and create a product off of their constraints. Trevor and I decided to be partners and create a tool that implements natural language processsing, a field in Computer Science in which concerns itself with interactions between computers and human (natural) languages, and identify patterns in student responses.
- 08/24/2016 - Daily Log 1:
Today Trevor and I designed the architecture of our Natural Language Processing tool and decided that we would use a web-based tool to serve our purposes. Further in english, we were introduced to a new project in which we would mentor elementary school kids on how to research and properly write articles. Mrs. Lloyd would like a blog for us to log our daily interactions and what we learned and what we taught them. So Trevor and I decided to create a blog in addition to our current project. - 08/25/2016 -Daily Log 2:
Today we discussed our decision to create a blog in addition to our computer science 4 project with Mrs. Moranza and she allowed to do it. We discussed our plan on what we will host our project on and decided to have Heroku provide us with a DNS and buy a cheap domain name from namecheap.com. We will be most likely be using Haskell Yesod to run our server and use Semantic-UI, a better alternate than bootstrap.
- 08/26/2016 -Daily Log 3:
Trevor and I worked on the project proposal all day and discusses the finer details of our plan. We moved our design and planning to trello.com to make it easier to document and for readability. Furthermore trello really helps to not miss out on building something.
